Matthew Arellano, A.K.A., “Beazie Beats”, was raised in the Inland Empire (I.E.), in a musically diverse community with his family and friends. During Hip Hop’s “Golden Era” (1990’s), Matthew started his DJ career performing at family gatherings, school functions and local parties. While developing his DJ skills, Matthew showcased his fusion of genres like: Hip Hop, Funk, Motown, Oldies and Rock & Roll. This eclectic sense of music would outline his foundation as an artist, and later pave the direction toward his musical career.
Matthew has not only played at various nightclubs, in Southern California, but has performed alongside reputable names like: DJ Revolution, Mr. Choc, Trentino, and Kid Cut Up. Although his reputation began to grow in the local club/bar scene, he knew his skills could improve. Therefore, Matthew enrolled himself into the proclaimed Scratch Academy (Los Angeles, California).
